Better energy through education
Throughout a 10 year partnership, Total E&P Canada has worked with FUSE, a University of Calgary student organization, to foster education and dialogue among students and professionals, helping to inspire our future leaders to make real-world impacts, both locally and globally.
Over 400 students, academic representatives and industry professionals gather together at the annual FUSE networking event, one of the most anticipated evenings in Calgary’s energy industry, to participate in conversations between students and leaders with one common goal – integrating more sustainable practices in Canada’s energy industry.
Conversation towards tomorrow’s energy future
Sustainability, economy and the preservation of the environment are paramount to Total’s business in Canada and around the world. We believe a responsible energy future lies at the intersection of industry, the environment, economics, innovation and societal impact.
Together, Total and FUSE work to implement change towards a more sustainable future. The ability do better is driven by the sharing of ideas, the education of one another and collaboration across disciplines. Throughout the year, FUSE is engaged in education sessions, tours, mentorship programs to help foster students’ ambitious ideas around sustainability.
